Physical activity for life:
Life is a name of movement. Where there is no movement, there is no life. Movement or physical activity depends upon physical health and fitness. That’s why physical activity is a base line of life line. Physical activity does not mean whole day workout.
As Benjamin Franklin said!
“Early to bed and early to rise, makes a men healthy, wealthy and wise”
is enough to elaborate the proper way of healthy life that is physical activity must be followed by proper rest or relaxed mind.
8Th September is observed as Physical therapy day round the world. Physical therapy is basically a way of treatment by means of physical activities and exercises.
In this era! Where robots are replacing labours and computers are overtaking mental approach. Moreover! modern world is adoring ways of ease and comfort. In this state physical activities are going to be reduced day by day results in unhealthy and disturbed lifestyle. Hence the physical activity and exercise is emerging in way of physical therapy. In this critical situation, need of the hour is daily physical exercise of almost 20 mints by average of 150 mints weekly as per experts advise. It will surely results in healthy physique and sharp mind.
According to a research conducted on world’s top politicians and successful businesspersons in order to summarize their similar habits. It was surprisingly found that they are early risers and beside other healthy activities physical exercise was one of their common habit.
In Pakistan! A well renowned opposition leader is a sportsman turned politician. He has got his position in politics with in no time of political arena. He is famous as youth leader often seen encouraging youth by doing different physical exercises like push ups and jogging in public. No doubt, being physically fit and having fresh mind is a plus point in his career. Moreover Celebrates/actors round the world are found much conscious about their health and fitness. Regular physical training and workout is a reason behind their mesmerizing stunts in different roles.
Above all these examples, Being Muslim! Our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBHU) placed great emphasis on physical religious activities like Namaz and Hajj and physical sports such as horse riding to encourage his followers.
Digital technology, mobile phones, mac books, internet services, video games, social media apps and other modern life hacks are obviously a part of fashion and somehow a need for daily living but adapting them as top priority and providing them protocol on price of our health is totally unfair and injustice. Slogan on world physical therapy day by physiotherapists throughout the world i.e. "Physical activity for life" is a reminder call for senior citizens and to encourage young nation to adopt healthy physical activities to achieve healthy, confident, sharp and mind blowing personality.
As it is said!
"A sound body has a sound mind"
So being physically active is a simple formula and a key concept behind healthy living.
